Arrive at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport and proceed to Gangtok by shared/private cab. Check into your budget hotel and freshen up. In the evening, stroll through the lively MG Marg, filled with cafes, street food, and souvenir shops. Ideal spot to relax after the journey.

Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Budget Tour Highlight)

After an early breakfast, leave for a scenic shared cab excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake at 12,400 ft. Enjoy optional yak rides or hot snacks at the lakeside. Continue to the nearby Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a revered site. Return to Gangtok by late afternoon and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 3: Rumtek Monastery + Banjhakri Waterfall + Cultural Stops

Post breakfast, visit the peaceful Rumtek Monastery, one of the largest in Sikkim. Then head to Banjhakri Waterfalls, a refreshing break in nature. Later, visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and the local Handicraft Centre to understand Sikkim’s culture. Return to hotel by evening.
